WOMEN'S WRESTLING FINISHES IN FOURTH AT THE NCWA NATIONAL DUALS
The National Collegiate Wrestling Association National Dual Team Championship attracts the top teams in the Country.  Being here in of itself is an honor. Teams have to be at their best every match in Dual Meet. Â
Despite being short handed with injuries, the team performed well. "We wrestled hard, it just wasn't enough to place higher, no excuses." said Head Coach
Ed Cruz.
On Friday, the team went 2 – 1. They defeated The Apprentice School (Va) and Utah Tech. "The win over Utah Tech was definitely satisfying" Cruz continued. Utah Tech ultimately finished in second place in the Tournament. A loss to the University of Central Florida completed the Friday Matches.
On Saturday the team started with a win over UNLV, but suffered a loss to eventual National Champion Tarleton University (Tx) and a second loss to the University of Central Florida.Â
With the Dual Team competition complete,
Sunday meant everyone had to refocus on the NCWA National Freestyle Championship. The team was impressive throughout the day.
