WOMEN'S WRESTLING LOOKING FORWARD TO A GREAT SEASON
 
Coming off a successful campaign last season, the Ottawa University Arizona Women's Wrestling Team sets its sights even higher. Last season the team finished 3^rd in the National Collegiate Wrestling Association's (NCWA) National Dual Team Championships. They followed that up with a great showing at the NCWA National Championships, finishing only one point out of first place.

The team returns four wrestlers who earned All-America honors last season:  Liliana Voakes, Angelina Walker, Quetzali Zacarias, and Evelynn Coronado. Returning All-American Lyla Tree is hoping to join the team after she recovers from and off-season injury.

The team has brought in a very strong recruiting class.  Starting with Brianna Reyes from Arizona.  She is a 4-time State Placer, including a 2-time State Champion.  The team has another State Champion who came in, Washington State Champion (2-time Finalist) Shawnnastasia Jackson.
